This poem is a dedication to all the people who want to let go of the lazy slumber and inhibitions to embrace their dreams.

Laying in hibernation in the cold hard days
Dreaming about the rainbows of the happy days
Heart’s so lost that the rhythm’s like a blues song
Sinking, surging life’s waves, just sauntering along

In harmony are the haze and ice
Hope plays hide and seek in a sporadic disguise
The more I dig the buried hatchet of the memory trench
My senses are aghast with that longing stench

Forever I can’t lie to the burning soul
Got to drag the body from the lazy haul
Open the drapes to embrace the gifts of surprise
Let the light in to a new sunrise…
